Count from from One to Ten-

One! Love the Lord Your God With All Your Heart
Two! Don't Bow Down to Idols That's Not Smart
Three! Never Take the Father's Name in Vain
Four! Keep the Sabbath Holy, Six Remain
Five, Honor Father and Mother
Six! Don't Take Life From Another
Seven! Don't Be a Louse-Be Faithful To Your Spouse
Eight! Don't Take Things That Don't Belong To You
Nine! Don't Say Anything That Is Not True
Ten! When You Go Into Your Neighbor's Home
Don't Start Wishing That It Was Your Own

That's the law God gave us long ago,
When temptation comes, it's good to know
That you can count to ten
Count from one to ten...

This is my commandment that you love one another
That your joy may be full
This is my commandment that you love one another
That your joy may be full
That your joy may be full
That your joy may be full
This is my commandment that you love one another
That your joy may be full

Did you know...???

That the Ten Commandments of the Old Testament aren't as archaic as you think! Many Christians are accused of being hypocritcal when they obey the Old Testament commandments but not the other rituals of the OT. This is the difference- the Old Testament serves as a history book, and a true story book of the accounts of the olden heroes. Our Biblical forefathers are there for us to LEARN from their example of patience, suffering and bravery-not to see if we can break a record in pig and goat sacrifices. And who doesn't love a good story? Especially when it's true! Animal sacrifices are no longer made because the ULTIMATE sacrifice, Jesus Christ, came into the world in place of those representaions. Then why do we obey the commandments if grace took over the law? Because the New Testament command of "love one another" is the summary of all 10 of the old ones! If we love our neighbor and God as ourself, we won't likely have an inkling to curse, blasphemy, hate, lie, cheat, swindle, and dishonor. All the old commands are summed up perfectly in the new! And, if we allow God to work, our joy will definetely be full!
